Once you have decided to sell your property and received a satisfactory offer, you will need to instruct a Conveyancer. If our estimate of costs is acceptable to you, you will need to confirm our instruction and pass our details to your Estate Agents.
You will then receive our Client Care Letter, Terms of Business, and forms to complete about your property.
Draft contract documentation, to include the forms completed by you with property information, will be sent to the buyer’s solicitors for review.
The buyer’s solicitors may wish to raise enquiries on the information provided and will order searches. Some of their questions may need to be passed to you for further information or for evidencing.
Once the buyer’s solicitors have concluded their enquiries and a date for completion has
been agreed, contracts will be exchanged – at this point the sale becomes legally binding.
The buyer’s funds are received, you will need to vacate the property and pass the keys to the Estate Agents for collection by the buyer. The balance of the sales proceeds is transferred to you.
